FYI:
I know this is not a dive trip! but it is a trip on LakeMichigans Largest steam Car ferry vessels still plying lake Michigan between Maitowoc WI &Ludington,Mi ,at 410' long,two 15'dia props, two Skinner Unaflow four -cylinder steam engines 3500 HP EACH!=total 7000 HP and for folks that have dove the S.S.Milwaukee she dose have some resemblance to her as both were originally rail car carriers.
And if you like steam trains this is a steam ship,Just thought I would post this neat weekend idea,Swimjim and and myself plan to dive several local sites prior to the boat leaving and then join our family's on board the cruise-This could be a meet and greet if any other SB divers make it up!

Cruise along the Manitowoc lake shore on the S.S. Badger. Manitowoc shoreline cruise from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm. This will delay the Manitowoc departure to 6:00 pm. Price includes all-you-can-eat Badger party buffet. DJ Entertainment is also available in the upper deck aft lounge area. This is a family fun event with children’s activities.
