Ft Lauderdale Cab Rates

Flying into Florida & staying on A1A (I think?) in Lauderdale. Can someone give me an idea of how far the airport is from the Quality Inn and what the cab fair will be?

I have tried the hotel and can't seem to get a straight answer.

IIRC the Quality Inn is on Pompano Beach. According to FLL's website this would cost around $33.
