There were about 40 divers in the water for the event. Max depth was 11' for 33 minutes of dive time (actually we were probably in the water for closer to 45 but it was too shallow for our computers to register) very low tide. Air temp was 47F and water was 41F. Vis (away from the other divers) was good ~15. Orion612004 and I got 1 shell each in the scavenger hunt and collected two bags full of garbage off the piers, and the raffle was a lot of fun, I got a t-shirt and poster. Really fun day!

Sounds like fun - I was thinking of going but ended up staying out late/early on New Years so there was no way I was going to make it down for registration. A few friends went and watched I guess. It was late an a 2 hour drive - I just couldn't justify it.
Water temp sounds pretty good - I was figuring in the mid 30s.

Thumbs up for the first dive of the year.
