Slowhands....I think those are Salps. They will congregate in long strings like that near the surface. Jellyfish don't have eggs like that but it's a common description.
 
First want to say I'm new to this board, but I love your pictures of the day Dee. Also enjoy the sharing session afterwards. Heres my jelly picts from Fiji. Shot with a Cannon G1, Ikelite DS50 strobe and Ikelite housing.
