I'm a Fish!
Not this coming weekend but maybe the next (Feb 9th or 10th) I was thinking of doing a quick test dive with the brand new Freedom Plate (prototype).

Would anybody be interested in giving it a test drive?
let's say at the Breakwater.

I'm looking for feedback from other divers and it would be a good opportunity for anybody who ever wanted to know what the product is and how it dives, here's your chance. I'll have a complete rig set up (minus regulator-bring yours). I'll bring a few different weight belts to have handy unless you have your own.

It looks like it's going to be bust up here as far as conditions go, so Monterey is my only other option. Besides, it's been a while and I always like the action.

Let me know

Thanks

Eric

About 15 minutes after I made the above post UPS showed up and delivered my Oxycheq stuff.
I got a #40 lb mach V wing to go onto the new plate and all brand new accessories. Duane talked me into trying the 40 instead of the 30. The size difference is minimal and it's still smaller than the old signature 30 I have, so I figured what the heck I'll try it.
I put it together and... OH MY GOD!!! Is it sweeeeeet.
The thing goes together so easily and the wing stays perfectly centered this time becase of the narrow 2" slots in both the plate and wing. Those "roll control" cushions they put into them I though would get in the way at first and I thought I may have to cut them off, but I decided to put it together first to see if it would work. No problem at all. In fact the roll control cushions add a bonus and that is that they held the wing in place on the plate making the rig a snap to assemble. With the old system there was quite a few things you had to get lined up and hold in place then re-adjust sometimes to get just right. With this new rig all those issues have been resolved.

Man, I am so pumped right now!!

I think you guys will be impressed.

Hopefully the weather will be OK and we can use it for the first time.
