I am planning a trip to Coz in a couple of months, and I am planning on the Casa Mexicana for hotel. I have stayed there before, and they always gave me a placard to put on my car dashboard which gave me free parking at the enormous lot a half block south of the hotel. I called them now to check on this, and got nothing but confusion. Does anyone know if they are still doing this?

I’ve got a message in to the hotel
    To confirm
The current parking policies. Will post here as soon as they reply which will probably be Monday.

They have some designated parking spots in the parking lot around the block on calle 5 between Tres Pelicanos and the International hospital.

Sorry, I would suggest asking the hotel directly or maybe the dive shop if they booked your hotel for you? My people staying there don't usually rent cars, so this has never come up for us.

I called them. They do not offer free parking. It's $6/day at the hospital around the corner.

You too can call them for free to clarify: 1-877 228 6747

And why would we do that? They are likely to tell us it's $3 or $9 or free, and confusion will be restored.

So in your world asking the hotel itself is less dependable than asking here?

Twas a joke. Making light of how it seems you get a different answer every time you ask.

Besides, you asked the hotel. I don't think you made it up. So if I call the hotel and ask I'm either going to get an answer that matches yours, in which case I learned nothing new, or an answer that disagrees with yours, in which case raises doubts as to what or if there is a correct answer to even be had.

It would have been nice if the hotel had responded to Christi by written message so one would have the answer in writing, but that having failed...
I did that, which would have been my original approach if I was renting a car and staying there.
Then you'd have the satisfaction of hearing from the horse's mouth. I like to add the name of my source when taking notes.
