I'm sure the bird will do great...fishing in mexico you always catch "boobie's" (dumbest bird on earth) because they will attack you lures..they will even attack each other , so you can catch 2 birds on one hook...I own large parrots so we know how to handle these guys...we unhook them and they come right back for more...we usually have to pull in all the lines and run to get away from them...we have also hooked ourselves pretty good...and healed just fine after removing the hook...(we remove the hook and treat ourselves as we are usually too far out to sea to worry about a doctor)
