Made many OPS designs for Jean Michel Cousteau Ocean Futures Dive Team. The Patented process allowed me to run circles around different shapes. Ocean testing with his team,

After diving in Jet fins for over 20 years, and thousands of dives, I understood the vents did little for performance. Mostly drag. When working on several " Spit fin Designs" I found it hard to drive water into any split or hole. Finally opened up to allow water to flow into the lower pressure

The first OPS foot pocket mounting ends were shaped by hand. After the concept of mounting different blades worked, I end up machining a end that was perfect and the next design changed. Have more of the later foot pockets and hopefully this week can match up to sell. Dick Anderson Effect - Force Fin

You be surprised how big of a scoop was needed to drive water flow into A Split fin design. Using a urethane fin to test lead to more surface area in the right spot to control flex. It was never easy as making one Force Fin and it all worked the first time. Bondo adding on next model.

When a US Marine combat swimmer asked me to make a less wide V shaped Force Fin I had only one choice and that was to long gate the V shape into a Split Fin shape. It was not a easy design trying to make the twin blades to snap and slightly open up along a curved blade. Here I am testing in a water bucket at 28 Anacapa Street shop and then at home testing pool.
