When did that happen?
Around 1985. Found this picture of Jimmy Gray helping trim Force Fins in back lot of 28 Anacapa Street. Raining... Plastic sheeting lasted for a short period before we built a metal shed.

.Next, we purchased a small trailer and set up in back lot of 28 Anacapa Street, Santa Barbara. Jimmy Gray came back to work with us. 1985. With a real work shop and water tower for dust control I was ready to start developing different Force Fin Designs. With Susanne Chess running the sales and staff we jumped into the waters again,

Susanne Chess and her son Alex Gagnon hanging out in the work shop. In side 28 Anacapa Street building Cham was shipping and Ward Collins and Cary were the sales team with Susanne reviewing orders. The red ladder lead to our bed room in the loft. Roll right out bed to work, with a out door shower in the back of our lot. This space was our old Force Fin shop. We had two special investors backing our growth from $80,000 to 1. 7 Million in sales.( ten Years ) .then we got HIT HARD with FAKE TEST REVIEWS. But we are still alive and our Plant is making Force Fin each day, less volume, but less stress. Paradigm Busting Fins, Paradigm Shifting Media – Force Fin

We were not happy with the Force Fin logo and my Dad, Gordon B. Evans and I tried to make something better. Our Shareholder Tariq Kadri had a design team in Los Angeles ( LA Design) and they helped create the Logo we use today..so here are some samples of ideas. First was the Force Fin Logo Body Glove deleloped. My Dads arrow concept and my first 1980's drawings. Later will share 10 or so ideas from LA Design.

While we were working out our Force Fin logo I made a simple three dots on the outer Force fin blade. People did notice and rubbed the spot, and asked what the story was ???. Not sure if any of these fins made the market now part of my Force Fin Collection ( Storage/Oxnard). Drawing of the idea before hand. Why Force Fins Are Made In U.S.A. – Force Fin

The fee for the Force Fin Logo was $10,000 in 1985. LA design had just finished work for the US Olympics. We did get our money worth, since it took many concepts to evolve.
