"For any reason" Trip Insurance

Hello everyone!!!

I have an upcoming liveaboard trip to Thailand (March/25), but there's a slight chance I may not be able to go.
The reason wouldn’t fall under any of the categories typically covered by standard trip insurance (I usually have DAN Trip Insurance).

I’ve started looking into trip insurance with a 'cancel for any reason' clause. Has anyone here ever had this type of insurance and could recommend one?

I offer Travelex to my divers and there is a cancel for any reason option. If you send me the approximate cost of your trip and your birthday (age) I'll send you a quote so you can compare.

Cancel for any reason is fairly expensive, but I buy it for long, expensive trips that would really hurt if I had to swallow the entire cost if my reason for cancelling did not fit the Terms of Service. Whatever you are considering, read and understand every word in the TOS. You might be surprised by what is not covered!

FWIW, "cancel for any reason" insurance is typically only available to US residents. Most insurers for people living outside of the US don't have as much variety in terms of underwriting and financing options, so coverage tends to be more limited.
