Wanted to get a poll and see what are some of peoples favorite places to eat in Cozumel. We've enjoyed both La Choza, and La Prima. But wanted to hear about other peoples favorites.

Pepie (main street not too far from the ferry pier) is my favorite. They have a syeak tar-tar that isone of the best I have ever had.

Mike...

Guidos
French Quarters
Palmeras (They had a Tampiqueña that was very nice and juicy).

Breakfast = Coffee Bean, Las Palmeras & Jeannie's Waffle House
Rockin Java

Lunch = Coffee Bean, Las Palmeras, La Choza, La Perlita (locals
eat there)

Dinner = French Quarters, Prima, Pancho's Backyard, Ernesto's,
Sanora Grill, La Mission

LaCocay and Guido's are my favorites for dinner.

Well I definatly love La Choza (have a bottle of their garlic sauce in the frigde now).

But....

One of my favorite things to do is the salsa tour. I head south from town around the island. Stopping at all the little bars (only one or two on the west side, most are the east side bars), I order a beer and chips and salsa and try to decide which I like best. It changes from trip to trip :).

We rented a car and did the same thing except we called it the margharita tour! Good thing we had a designated driver!!

(in no particular order)
El Capi Navigante
Santiago's
Sonora Grill
La Morena
La Choza
Prima
Pancho's Backyard
El Moro
Los Moros del Morritos
Casa Denis
La Cocay (good but pricey)

But there is a new place that I haven't seen anyone mention yet. Mexico en Los Siglos. It is on themain waterfront across the street from the naval base and Rock-n-Java. It is open air and the food is outstanding!

The Cream of Cilantro and walnut soup is my favorite post dive lunch! They are open for lunch and dinner, closed on Mondays.

Another new place that is really good and has healthier foods is Ambientes. They are on Av. 10 between Rosada Salas and Calle 3. (just a few doors doen from Deep Blue)

My other favorites are:
Guidos
French Quarter
La Cocay
Las Arrecherras
La Choza
Rock-n-Java
Chilangos
Los Moros Del Morrito

No, Prima is not on my list because I honestly don't care for it. Guidos is far superb Italian food and the atmosphere is much nicer, in my opinion.

Don't miss Mexico en los Siglos...GREAT addition to the island!

Prima is on so many lists. I honestly don't understand why anybody would eat Italian when visting Mexico.
