I've seen the shrimp hatch (or whatever it is) at Foley too only it was more like a layer, sort of like a thermocline (shrimpocline?) Very cool.

Hey TimK:

Good to see you're still in the water! (AND WET!)

Weather permitting, Reefseal and I are going to the usual place next Friday (4/18) after work. Let me know if you can join us.

Who's the dorky guy with the deathbox? :)

yea seriously...also i love the quote "Rebreather diver Erik Dasque loves coming back to Folly Cove, a popular New England beach dive. Rebreather diving allows Erik to interact and observe the local fauna and macro-life, which was previously not possible diving open circuit" what was previous impossible about this dive?

Love you shnookums!

I was there last Wednesday: the temp was 38, and the viz was about 4-5 feet; but it was nice to get in and do some diving.

Some fish are scared of bubbles?

Also what "macro-life" do you find at Folly? Other than two-legged, that is?

Oh, I got it now -- the macro-life which stays on the surface and wears skimpy two-piece bathing suits. If you emit no bubbles, you can observe this macro-life from below and remain unnoticed.
