Hi, I know there was a thread about this sometime ago (I think back in 2010), but has anyone tried this recently? Seems like should work--I have a Zeagle Covert, would remove all clips, etc., and just wear it like vest.

Recent successful experiences doing this to/from CZM, SJU, etc. on Jet Blue, AA, Liat, etc.??

Thanks.

Giving this a bump for us non-backplate, regular-BCD-wearing types. Anyone flown wearing one as vest recently? Again, would be super lightweight travel BCD with no metal clips or buoys or anything attached. Only really anomalous part would be the tanks straps.

I fly all the time to go alpine skiing. Never once have I seen anyone wearing ski boots onboard the aircraft. Must make a note to try that.

Or flippers.

I’ve seen snowboard boots worn on the plane.

Saw someone wear a rebreather on to the plane
