Can somebody give me the name of some dive operaters in South Padre or Corpus Cristi that do charters to the flower gardens. My inlaws live on S.P. we go there at least once a year in the spring. I am not to happy with the operater on S.P. he has canceled both times I have tried to dive with him, also he doesnt go to the flower gardens.

I'm not sure there are any. There are several dive shops in San Antonio and Corpus that make the drive to Freeport to dive with either Gulf diving or Sea Searcher.

Are you asking if there are any dive boats based in SP that goes to the Flower Gardens? No there aren't.

Here's a link a one of charter boat comapanies that does. It's based out of Freeport, Tx.

Gulf-Diving sales spaces to the dive shops who then fill the spots. On the schedule page it'll list which shops have the boat charter. Contact the shops listed to see if the have space available. I believe most shops retail the trips anywhere from $355 up to $375ish depending if its a weekend or weekday trip.

there is also another operator the Sea Searcher that goes out there. I don't know their webste or contact information.

My memory is Copeland's in Corpus Christi ran their boat out to the FG in the past, but I have been away from that area the past 5 years, and things probably have changed. Their boat schedule didn't go to the FG nearly as often as the Sea Searcher and Rinn boats did - they did more rig diving trips in general.

Last I checked the Gulf-diving boats, Copelands is one of the shops making the drive to Freeport.
