can someone identfy a fish for me in my gallery? I have a few Ideas but I'm not sure. This fish attacked me on the dive I did yesterday and bit my fins, Camera housing, flag string on reel, and circled around me for about 5 minutes till I left the area. It was kinda freeky and funny at the same time that I ran away for a mean reef fish :1poke:

Anyway, I would appreciate it if you could let me know if it was a Sargassum Triggerfish???

Definately a Triggerfish. Triggers can be aggressive if you enter into their little piece of the world. They often will make close passes and nip. I'm not sure about "attacks," but if they feel threatened they are not as shy and retreating as most other species.

I believe what you have there is a Gray Triggerfish.

The Sargassum Trigger is smaller looks a good bit different.
