Anyone want to make a guess what is in it's mouth? Found out later when the predator couldn't "stomach" it's prey ;-P

Just a guess... but then, I don't know what the predator is! We don't have those guys in New England! What is that thing? How big are they?

or surgeon?

Bugger - I was going to say cuttlefish but I assumed it was from somewhere in the US, so I said squid! What sort of fish is that, sillago - some sort of flathead?

What ever it is is laying horizontally with it's mouth pointed out. You can see its dorsal (is that the one on the back?) in the right side of the picture (eg left side of that monster's mouth). That thing must have attacked its dinner from behind---ooooo. Can you imagine that swallowing you fin first?!?!
