We finally got ourselves a smartphone(Android) and as we are going to do some diving in Indonesia, we thought it may be a good idea to pre-load some fish/sea creatures guides on it.
It looks like we will not have to carry a fish ID book anymore, the technology can be lovely.

Can you recommend any good applications?

You can get pdfs of the "gold standards" from fishid.com.
