id go with a different octo, aslong as it will hold up to the conditions you throw at it who cares about performance its supposed to be used to surface in an emergency not to dive off of, will help you save cash.
 
I think what you've picked out is fine but if you are moving back to Newfoundland, maybe there is a dealer there with a greater variety of gear-You said one of the reasons you were going with the set up was that it is available.

If you choices are currently limited due to geographical location, and you know you'll be moving in the next year, save your money. You'll get a broader selection, and potentially better pricing, when you move.
