So I went to a dive shop beside my work today to see what they had to offer and I came out with a pair of blue Sherwood Fusions :D they fit my foot with a 7mm soft boot like a glove, the instructor at the shop was really helpful he checked for the upper part of my foot for how it fit and such. Tried it on with the hard boots and had to move up to a large, the fit wasn't too great, so he said to stick with the size smaller with the soft boot which was a great decision.

Looking forward to using them when my course starts!

Very nice, its always a milestone buying your first bit of kit, especially when you get some decent advice and service... Some added motivation for completing your course.

Maybe on completion of said course your next bit of kit should be a lovely brand new (non peed in) exposure suit..

haha yea, that will probably be what I get first once all my basic gear.
