Yea, good move progressively trying new gear in controlled conditions. Task loading is not to be taken lightly.

As for night diving I really really enjoy night dives, it's an entirely different experieince, diving in an intimate pool of light. Hiding your light and following your buddy's light is even cooler.

As for 4 feet, I can think of a lot of sites where I'd gladly stay in the water at 4 feet for a long time just watching critters in that zone. With the sunlight gone depth is less noticable other than the zones it brings you to. At 4 feet you can stay under for a looong time. Get bored, stand up, walk out.

58F? that's a cool pool.

Dive safe,
Pete

Main objective was trying out the new wetsuit. I was very comfortable with temps in the high 50's, so I think I'll be able to handle low 50's

Yeah, I think 50F is when I'm going to shed the hooded vest and just dive the 7mm full suit. Although I may still want to wear the skin under it for a while... It was really toasty today with temps @48F at wetherill.

Gee you're tempting me to park the DS and go wet tomorrow. I'll be diving with wet buddies.

Gotta sleep on this one.

LOL on night dive at 4 ft......If the pool was/is indoors could it be considered a Cave/Cavern Dive???

Well John the day has arrived, i did the boat dive yesterday, too bad you couldn't make it. The water temp at the Boston Harbor Islands was 46F ( Sunnto Degrees) so knowing you in the summer you maybe diving with a T-shirt and shorts, "Cancun Style".

I'll be posting a report about this dive.

LOL,

I went wet and thoroughly enjoyed the 55 minute dive in 45F.

I'll probably go back and forth for a few more weeks or a long as it takes to make 50F a done deal. Dry will still be appealing when it's not sunny and warm or I know I'm doing multiples.

New suit Johnny?

Yep, well a new used suit. Got a unisuit 2 months ago actually and it needed new neck and wrist seals. Finally got it back and it worked great today in 48F. I may be diving this a lot more often, very comfortable and very much like a wetsuit - it's neo.
