For my first computer I have decided to buy a wrist mount dive computer instead of a console. I am looking at the Uwatec Aladdin Sport Plus. Does anyone own this computer? Any feedback would be appreciated!!!

Also, any other suggestions?

Thanks

1. Wrist Mount.
2. Nitrox capability.
3. Large display.
4. User replaceble batteries.
5. Ability to change between Imperial and Metric (I use it).
6. behavior when you do not comply with Deco stops.

Probably some more. Not specifically it this order.

I got the Suunto Vyper.

Ari :)

you might also concider the Mares M1.

it also has these things

You are not paying attention: I did not recommend the Vyper, I was just listing some of my requirement, which are met by the Vyper.

There are:
1. Other requriments one might consider.
2. Other computers which fulfill the same requirements.

So in a way, I was only suggesting to look around for something that fits one's personal needs and diving profile.

Ari

I went throught the same decision factors, and there are probably several very good computers that will fit your requirements.

I also ended up with a wrist mount Vyper.

It has a very good sized display, and the Suunto's are known for their reliability, and safety. Also, a neat computer download capability (although I have not bought this yet).

Try a search on the board for Vyper, and you will see what I mean. There have also been several threads about Hose vs. wrist mount that may be interesting for you.
