First computer; Zoop, Oceanic Geo 2.0 or Veo 3.0?

You are certainly not obligated to buy one if you're not comfortable doing so but I find it highly unlikely that "that guy" in post #8 can accurately speak on the experience of all Geo owners worldwide. My old Veo 250 wasn't all that great on batteries - it needed two is less than a year. My current GEO 2.0 has been issue free since i got it about 1 year ago. Unfortunately my experience with my computers has nothing to do with what will be your experience with yours.
 
Thanks for the suggestions all. I decided to go with the Geo 2 and the size looks good to me. After playing around with the computer today, this seems like a decent first computer. Also, the price was right after telephoning LP (much less than their listed web price).

Howmuch did you get it for? I just bought a display one for $290.
 
I, also went with the Geo 2.0. Having problems with Oceanic getting an activation code sent to my email account after registering. Any ideas? Thanks.
