Just curious how often everyone generates financial statements for their business. Is it monthly, quarterly, semi-annually, or just at the end of the year? Do you do them yourself (Quickbooks, Peachtree, etc.) or have an outside accountant / CPA do them for you? We do ours quarterly.

Bump. We're now generating them monthly. Anyone else?

I do mine annually, but then again I'm an independent instructor.

My wife, Yellow Angel Fish, is an accountant and uses Quickbooks for my paltry earnings/LOSSES.

Monthly, and unless we made a loss (which we always do in the low season and never do in the high season) we take some profit out too each month - otherwise what's the point of being in business?

We're just moving over to MYOB, but have had no problems for years using a self-created system of Excel worksheets (it's just that we've outgrown it now).
