.. Now mine just looks and turns around mumbling somthing to her self.
I am married to her sister, she complains about 'the sprawling mess; it is taking over the house and garage'. I tell her that she owns the rest..............':D

This is just one step on the path of the "endless shopping list". As I am too starting down the tech path, the purchases need to prioritized and spaced out.
The initial shopping list for adv nitrox and deco class nearly caused my wife to pass out (and she is a diver as well).
After the initial jolt, it is really a piece at a time. It sure makes my Christmas list very easy. However, my sisters don't yet buy into the idea that a new reg, tank bands, manifold or other goodies are good presents (not to mention the prices) . However in my younger days they also revolted when I asked for clamps 4 years in a row to feed my woodworking habit.

Wife told me I already used up my xmas list for the next 20 years, I told her fine here's my birthday one!....LOL

I believe the DSS plates are better than Halcyon's.

And that the Oxycheq wings are better than Halcyon's.

And that SARTEK lights are better than Halcyon's.

And that ScubaPro gauges are better than Halcyon's.

But you got a good package deal.:eyebrow:

To Eliminator -

Enjoy the H gear, and don't listen to nereas (nobody else here does).

No smiley because I'm serious.

The evolve is a nice wing, I have the 40lb version. Hope you enjoy it.

Nice gear, congrats!

I just got my Evolve 60 last week via courier. When I opened it and showed it to my wife she said the scariest thing I heard; "Wait, so now you have THREE wings!!?!?!?".

I never knew she was keeping track :shocked2:

I told her that I now had all the gear I required but I don't think she's fooled. She doesn't know I want a scooter next year!

I have (and use) 2 sets of doubles. Twin 130s and twin 72s. I believe that is the perfect number.:)

Is this you??

WOW doubles bailout bottles....... that is some dive!!

Is this you??

I would never dive a CCR for any reason. Nope.

Even this guy in the photo, with all his bail out tanks, is completely at the mercy of his buddy if his CCR malfunctions. And even then only if he is lucky will he make it back alive.

My personal rules for scuba prohibit equipment that is less than 100% reliable. O/C with 2 of everything is more than 100% reliable. Probably close to 200% reliable. Actually 199% I would guesstimate. A CCR is significantly less than 100% reliable, and many have died using these.

My rules also prohibit unnecessary risks. A CCR introduces unnecessary risks for most open water applications.
