I have (and use) 2 sets of doubles. Twin 130s and twin 72s. I believe that is the perfect number.:)

How do you use them at the same time...? :D

Oh, BP/W and doubles . . . then the can light . . . then the reel, and the backup lights, and the Al40 and the deco reg and the second set of doubles
And, don't forget the drysuit - he's in BC.

I need (and use) three sets of doubles to avoid wasting Helium :P

Better to get the one set then move to a rebreather, so much cheaper in the long run...least that's how I sold it to the wife.

I have one set of double 119's on my back and sling my second set; doesn't everyone do it that way?

:D

Right now I have two sets of doubles in the garage about 1/3 full of 21/35. I'm not planning to use it until early Feb, so I need my third set for other dives.

Nice. I don't really do enough helium diving for a CCR to pay for itself any time soon. However, I don't doubt that one is in my future.

I'm a cold wuss; I just assume anybody in the PNW is ALREADY diving dry!

It is better, of course, if you are going down the CCR road to get the CCR before you ever buy any tanks. Unless you plan to solo dive in your future, in which case you still need O/C because solo with a CCR is suicide.:eyebrow:
