Dive-Ho:
You mean people actually take long pants to Cozumel
How quaint.
Dive-Ho

Not me. If I can't get in in shorts, I ain't a-goin'! I do bring a few collared short sleeved shirts for dinner trips, though.

1. Has anyone ever booked this hotel throught Funjet? If so what type of room do you get?

2. How much is the cab fare to town?

3. Do you have to dress in anything other than shorts, t-shirt, and flip flops for dinner?

thanks

1. We booked though Funjet (via LDS). Had the standard room I guess, king bed, 27' tv,mini-bar, chair, dressers, etc. The bed was kinda hard and the pillows were tiny, but thats to be expected. The room was fairly large with tile floors, plenty of room.
The bathroom was kinda small, but manageable.
Balcony was ok, enough room to lay out 2 sets of gear to dry anyway.
We'd stay there again.

2. As everyone else has said, cab fare was about 6 bucks.

3. We had dinner at the "fancy" restaurant downstairs once. Had to put on a pair of pants, my wife wore a sundress. The food was ok, but nothing memorable.
Everywhere else we went "beach casual dress" was fine, no problems at all.

Thanks for everyones responses..I am going to forgo FA this trip. I don't dress up to go out to eat here at home, but then I avoid those restuarants, so I don't want to go anywhere I have to wear a sundress or anything other than a dive t-shirt and shorts. I know what's the big deal, but it just me.

There are plenty of other hotels we always stay at Hotel Coz and I was just thinking about changing things up. Booked for July 1-8th. Thanks again
Ann
