Howcome Catalina always needs to be cleaned, what are those students doing over there???

It's not the divers but the boaters and drunken pier pedestrians who drop things overboard. Last year Derek and I dove the Green Pier and he found for me a 14k ankle bracelet that I wear. We also found coins, eyeglasses, & other various junk. It's a fun time!

Oh... others found lots of bicycles!

Christian,
Would you also add my vote to the 13th? Thanks!

Any of those dates work for me although I may be going to Northern California the weekend of the 12/13th so that's less preferable. As for the cleanup, if we aren't going on a dive that day I plan to be there along with whoever else wants to treck out (never been to that place before now that I think about it).

Why don't we just do the dive as the clean-up? Ok, there I go using that we thing again when I haven't been a part of the we thing yet...Sorry!

Wrinkles Clean up dive, might be a real good time to have that ScubaBoard Banner we have been talking about, as well as finding some new friends.
Like a recruiting dive day.
We would just not BBQ.

I'd rather do the wrinkles dive in Laguna, and keep the cleanup separate. I see no reason why we can't do both on different days, then people can still go to Catalina, find new friends, etc.

I enjoy our barbecues where we further build our existing friendships, and meet a small number of new people.

I agree with Scott. Plus, I think the time has passed to sign up at the lower rate, no?

Yes, that was January 31. You can still sign up, but it will cost $10 more. I don't know if that holds true for groups, though.

I chose the Cleanup, BTW, because I know I'll be there...
