While all that's true, in my experience I have only ever found it more expensive to get a pre-banked EANx fill over a custom EANx fill. Logic may defy reasoning here, but I can only speak from my own experience on the matter.
Custom EANx blends aren't reserved only for deeper diving. Personally, I prefer to use the highest % of 02 I can get for whatever depth I am diving up to of course the 40% limitation I'm certified to dive with. Since my LDS banks 100% Hyper Pure 02 for their EANx fills, every EANX mix is a custom mix, even 32%.
