Mrs. Dish and I had a very fine time, again. Hard not to, with so many fine people to get to know and hang out with, as well as seeing old friends again after a long hiatus. Our DM, Giovanni, was excellent, as were all the other DMs we had the pleasure to interact with throughout the trip. Mrs Dish wanted to thank Jorge, her DM, for leading her on a very enjoyable night dive.
I’d like to thank “Stream2Sea” for supporting the event and the gift card that I finally won. Of course, Mrs Dish has plans for that one… leave in hair conditioner being top of the list. I’d also like to thank “Divers Direct” for supporting the event and providing the gift card that Mrs Dish won. I think she has plans for that one, as well. Thanks to all the companies that helped to support this event, many of which I’ve been a customer of in the past and will continue to be. Your participation is greatly appreciated.
Even though Mrs Dish and I are walking/diving Shearwater ads, many thanks to Shearwater for providing loaner computers for folks to try out. I think folks were pretty jazzed to check them out. Just wish Bruce and Lynn could have joined us on this trip.
Of course, this missive would not be complete without a big hug and thank you to Dennis and Roxanne for organizing and putting on the event, wrangling sponsors, arranging dive crew lists, hiding a coin on “land surrounded by water”, hiding mini rum bottles, concocting the “Welcome Party” games, filming and editing the Farewell Video and just being outstanding people. Great to see you two again!
