Favored Brand of BC's and Regulators

Regs: Dive Rite. But, I have only tried Dive Rite, Hollis, Apeks, Oceanic, and ScubaPro (that I can remember), so my favorite may not be the best.
BCD: My favorite is a Dive Rite wing on a whatever-is-least-expensive back plate. But, if I had to buy an integrated BCD, it would probably be an Aqualung Outlaw. Or possibly a Zeagle Express Tech or a ScubaPro LiteHawk. But again, I haven't used very many different integrated BCDs. I have not used any of the 3 I listed. I haven't used any kind of integrated BCD at all in over 2 years. Only back plate and wing. For BP/W, I have only tried wings from DSS, Dive Rite, Halcyon, HOG, OMS, and Oxycheq. The Dive Rites and HOG have been my favorites, but there may be others I haven't tried that I would like better.

Seems everytime this question gets asked everyone has their personal preference ( lots of backplate/wing people here)
But I agree with best choice for you is who your LDS has a good relationship with. My basics are all Shereood . Your local shop may even have different rental stuff available from different suppliers. That's your best place to start , in my opinion lols

I recently started using a Sherwood Avid BCD and boy is it comfortable. I literally do not feel its presence underwater. It also gives me great trim.
I have been using a Sherwood Oasis for years and it has been trouble free.
I would recommend both.

You likely need to add an 'other' item to the poll for it to have any validity, given the number of "none of the above" replies. Not sure polling BC and reg in same poll makes sense.
PB/W - OxyCheq wing, Halcyon and OxyCheq plates, Halcyon integrated weights, DiveRite Mask pocket, OMS buckle, maybe Hollis Katana for sidemount.
ScubaPro Mk 25Evo/S600s, Mk2/108, though maybe Deep6 eventually for sidemount.
