Fat Tuesday Beach Dive in Gulf Shores/Orange Beach? 2-20-7

Yeah the conditions were a challenge for me, but it was good experience. Now if only the traffic from those blasted parades hadn't turned added a half hour of driving each way! Nice meeting you gulf and bugman, thanks for sticking out the dive!

I met SBM and CMU at Bahama Bobs had Fin buckle problems and had to call my dive. Oh well $#%@ happens.:shakehead

Hey gulfdiver you might want to try and get some spring straps for your fins they work great. I have a pair of scubapro twinjets and I put a pair of scubapro spring heel straps on them and they work like a dream. It really helps during beach entery due to the ability to put them on quickly.

Ok, lets look at the weather closely, I think there is a 70% chance of rain sunday (I talked before looking at the weather). I know that sbm is going out to the Destin Jetties on saturday, you might want to try that. I can't go I had looked at my March instead of Feb section of my calendar (my wife left it on March after looking something up) and thought I had the 24th off :11: (I'm such a tard). So that is two dives I will have missed this month :light:

Don't worry, there is lots more diving to come. I can't do the Jetties b/c I've got a friend in town diving at Vortex on Saturday. Lets keep an eye on Sunday's weather. I'm in Pensacola, btw.
