Hi

I am looking for buoyancy characteristics of the Faber steel cylinders which we buy in the UK.

I ask because the DIR recommendation is to use aluminiums for stages but the new legislation in Europe means that aluminium cylinders are going to be made heavier than the US ones.

Does anyone have the figures for 3ltr and 7ltr fabers and how do they measure against the luxfer aluminiums available in the US?

Incidentally are there any techniques DIR approved in the event that aluminium stages aren't available which may be a real possibility in Europe?

Thanks
