A while back, I purchased the Flat Lens Housing Standard (Product EUWL) from Eye of Mine for underwater scuba videos. This past weekend I made films at depths ranging from 15ft (shallowest) to 75ft (deepest). On 15ft feet, I noticed the black snap latch would loosen (I could hear it clicking loose as I would move in the water) and at depths deeper than 40 ft, I have had other divers signal that the latch is completely unsecured and flapping about. However, the pressure difference between the inside of the housing and the outside kept the housing from taking in water. I am a little bit disappointed in this performance since the website indicates that this housing is good to a depth of 100 ft. Has anyone else experienced this? I contacted EoM to see what they have to say.
