I'm looking at a couple of new computers, I've always used a basic air comp.and although I'm not Nitrox cert. nor do I know if all pursue that anytime soon, Should I pay the additional $$ for Nitrox capability?

best bit of advice I got when I purchased my first computer was get a nitrox one - I had just completed 9 dives at the time....

You will likely do nitrox someday...I would go for it..

Not exactly a bargain basement type of watch...
It would compute nitrox dives if I let it...
But it lives in gauge mode...

I used EAD and even short cut that.

I say save your money and buy some education...
A nice DIRF followed by a GUE tech class.
