There was a great reply to this subject in the current issue of bicycling. The writer wrote a letter to the editor that he thought it was rediculous to see someone riding a $5000 titanium racing road bike around campus with tennis shoes.suddha:If you don't like shallow silly topics, "move along.... nuthin' to see here."
I am unabashed watch fantatic and last year I got a high end Omega dive watch as a gift. I will be doing my classroom and pool sessions for OW certification in a couple of weeks and am wondering if I will look like the ultimate poseur if I wear my watch to class. I know in the end this doesn't mean a thing and it is a silly question but I gotta ask. I'll probably still wear it no matter what.
Cheers.
Missdirected:I'm curious as to why so many think the nice watches are going to be lost. A couple of mine I have difficulties even getting off. Most nice pieces aren't going to have a something that doesn't stay together very well.
