Hi All!

I am a vacation type diver (PADI AOW/EAN). I own an Expedition O2 Analyzer that I use on the two or three dive trips I am able to take each year. I last replaced the sensor in Sept 2010 (abour 18 months ago). Since then it has been used by two people for about 40 total dives (20 or so each). Aside from that, the unit is kept with the "sensor saver" cap tightly screwed on in a small sealed pelican case.

Given these circumstances, is it time to replace the sensor? How can you tell if the sensor is close to the end of its useful lifespan?

Thanks and happy diving!

Interesting...over two weeks since I posted this question, over one hundred views...not a single answer. Pathetic.

the sensor needs to be replaced when you can no longer calibrate. read the manual, and it will tell you the typical life spam of the sensor (not really dependent on uses, but on time out of the package).
