Yeah beat him in the ground J/k everyone. I don't like fighting but what a jerk. should have flooded his mask.

The only time that I have been to Hawaii was BC (Before Certification). I found the people to be among the most friendly and helpful that I have met in my limited travel experience. However, If I were on a diver charter and saw the guide do to someone as this man did to you, I would immediately cancel an further activities I might have had planned with said person/shop and take my business elsewhere along with making sure that I spread the word to anone I met to stay away from them.

My parents and a friend recently opened a small franchise business, as expected, our best form of advertising is word of mouth based upon the customer service that we give. We do not worry about anyone "stealing" our customers, we either earn thier business or lose it by our actions. While the business environment we operate in is likely to be much different than what is in Oahu, the fact remains that your actions will determine if you succeed or not.

I am truly sorry that you have had this experience, and should I ever be fortunate again to be able to come visit your wonderful state, I will remember to ask you in a PM who to avoid so that I make sure that my business goes where it deserves to go.

Maybe someone should invite him to state his own case.

Besides, this thread makes it pretty clear who it is if people can guess who it is.

If someone needs to know they can PM you.
I disagree ... having read Catherine's version of the account, I feel it would be a service to ScubaBoard members to publicly name this person and the business they represent.

Whatever his motives, acting in such a manner threatens the safety of a diver. This goes well beyond unprofessional ... I agree with those who call it assault, and it should not be condoned or overlooked.

ScubaBoard members would be well-advised to stay clear of someone who behaves this way ... for their own safety if nothing else.

It's especially disturbing to me that this person ... who remains anonymous ... advertises his business on ScubaBoard. He should be named, and invited to come to this thread and discuss his side of the story.

To my concern, it had better be good ... there is NEVER an excuse to assault someone in the water. It would be way too easy for such actions to result in the injury or death of a diver, and that's something no one should ever condone or excuse ... especially from someone who's representing himself as a diving professional.

For sure....if a guy did this to one of my daughters I'd go off on him. At least get a shot or two in even if he's way bigger.

I actually went to his ad page on this board and posted my short whiney review (I hope it's approved). I was surprised to see no other reviews there, good or bad.

I missed your review (not the one in Kudos is it?)...where did you post it?

I just posted it to InsideScuba.com(the little blue and yellow ad), I'm sure it will take a little bit to go through.

I still have not posted my Whine and Cheeze yet, I should. There are so many things that were not right about the whole operation(besides his being aragant).

Maybe I need a legal opinion? I would like to Name names when I post to Whine & Cheeze.

I agree Bob. This is not the first problem I have heard of with this person and Catherine was assaulted in front of a lot of witnesses. I think you should allow the name to be shown and let him come to this thread and respond. I think that is fair.

hey leesa, maybe you could tell him "he's wanted on Scubabaord".
