Equivalency Anilao vs. PG

people PPDs and Weekend divers of Anilao :

we would like to see how much it costs you for your dive to do weekend dives in Anilao/Batangas

please do state ;

1. accomodations (fan room, aircon)
2. meals,
3. tank refills,
4. dive boats ,
5. and average number of dives you do,
6. and what type of dives (shallow, photography, deep, etc.)
7. Gear : rental or own
8. transportation cost for the weekend
9. number of divers/companions in your group

hi,
I usually do day trips If I go to Anilao. But If it's overnite these are my cost.
ovenite stay at Nita Caspao resort. ( medyo cheapy) P 2500 AC room but not food good for 4 divers in a room with private bath. But we are only three in the room when we go there.
Dive boat 2000/ day sa suki ko
P 150 per tank at Sm Scuba ( 3 x P 150)
P 100/ dive pass P 200 for 2 days
GAs hati sa tatlo P 1200/ trip
My Share for an overnite stay with 6 dives and boat with dive pass is P 3666/ no food yet. that's for anilao. o tips yet.
For PG
Gas P 400
ferry 300
cargador 100
lodging 400
dives 4x 2800
parking 100
food w/ good dinner only 700
grand total P 4800
But diving in PG in I think for me is better than Anilao. Though Anilao is good also if you don't like the hassle. But diving is better I think than work. Di Ba?

2. meals, - 250-300
3. tank refills, - 80 (air shore), 110 (air boat), 240 (nitrox)
4. dive boats , - varies based on if DM present and number of divers
5. and average number of dives you do, - 3-4
7. Gear : rental or own - own
9. number of divers/companions in your group - varies

Overall, with 4-6 people, I spend about $40 on 2-3 dives, using nitrox. That includes gas, boat, DM and lunch but doesn't include transportation down and back.

i really don't spend for my accomodations and other expenses when i do my scuba diving.

however i am doing this to benefit those other PPDs who are not in the same position as i am and others here that get some perks diving.

This thread has an objective of sharing (hopefully) the Experience of SCUBA Diving with others by HELPING others. The intent of this thread is to provide for cost estimates that maybe used for packaging costs for a PPD DOR to OTHER PARTS OF THE COUNTRY .

SCUBA Diving is as much of a passion as it is a sport......who cares what it costs? Package deals for PPD'ers are not going to affect what we charge our EURO, AMERICAN, or our other country customers. We live in a country where mean income is not much more than $1 per day (or something ridiculous like that)....see what I mean?
