Not sure how many of you have seen this advert by a US manufacturer with a picture of a diver holding his BM BCD in front of him... The ad reads this is not sidemounting and the idea is to buy their dedicated sidemount rigs! Dubious?

Take a look at this diver that converted a jacket style SEAC BC for SM.
Notice the addition of the lower harness/belt with Fixed D-rings for lower tank mounting
Of course this guy might not know what he doing - the diver is Forrest Wilson.
