This was a result of a complaint that to many people were using my IP to log in scubaboard so I was either using multiple names, so I restricted access to those not signed in on the network. Basically only trusted members of the network can do so.

And I was doing all my best trolling while logged on under your name at the store Tom. :11:

What most of you apparently don't realize is that Tom allowed us to acess Scubaboard from NTD's computers and therefore NTD's I/P addresses when we were between dives in Kingston. This is just one of many way's that Northern Tech Diver goes above and beyond for thier customers. Apparently other Eastern Ontario area shops have a problem with exceptional customer service.
 
So why did you make this a post on SB instead of putting up a sign in your shop? Only seems to concern your customers in your store..
 
Actually it looks like the original thread was moved from the OFWF section.. it kinda makes sense there.

Did a mod move this to the Whiners... er, sorry, Whine & Cheese section?

That being said, Tom and I have come to some understandings which is a good thing.
 
That being said, and thread being moved.. Tom, why not take out an Ad on SB that would be up in the OFWF forum? Its totally your target market and it would show support for the board. It would also probably be seen by people who visit the forum that may dive there vs. chancing on a thread upon a thread in that forum praising or bragging about the shop.. something that would be more appropriate in the kudo's forum thanking you for exemplary services.

I think having I-net available to clients at the store is pretty cool myself :D
