This is a tragedy!

At least I got there before you added Scuba Board to your 'banned' settings!

Tom R:
Due to some complaints from ************** effective today clients will no longer be able to access Scubaboard from the wireless connection at my location.
The Decostop and NTDMM will still be accessable.

My Apologies

Well folks,

It appears there have been complaints from certain other local commercial operations that Tom's posts are commercial in nature. How many commercial complaining operations can you come up with in the area? I have 2. They cannot compete out on the water so what do they do?

For the record Tom and the team at NTD relocated/located some 20 plus wrecks last year and opened up the numbers to all the local operators that wanted them. And a number of the club members went out and moored 3 or 4 of them for everyones benefit.

After the complaints and the nonsense that went on today, they would have been better served to keep the information to themselves instead of posting it to the board for all to enjoy.

It might do everyone better if they would all just go diving.

Man, that's impressive. How many lift bags did you need to relocate some of the wrecks? :)

Just kidding, I knew what you meant.

You require one of each lift bag, including the lift raft.

Why you might ask?

Because Tom sells them :10:

Hello

I've heard plenty about NTD but its all been good, I 'Ive never yet heard from any one anything negative about there scuba shop or charter service so whats the problem here folks, if there is a complaint about advertising at least its good advertising and you can be assured the complaints are coming from close business competition. I've never understood why you can't advertise your business on this board its a good thing and it makes the wheel go round and the smartest man will only win. I hope the picture I use of my submarine doesn't make any one think I offer submarine rides now.

Mountains out of molehills.

We don't allow the commercial use of the board within the club sections. If you want to promote your business we ask that you use the Market Place or heaven forbid purchase the banner in the Freak zone. I know you expect some return for your investment, but I guess you feel justified to begrudge the board doing the same. I am truly sorry if you feel this seperation singles your business out, but the users really seem to appreciate it.

BTW, if you feel that there are other dive shops advertising in such a manner on our board, then by all means just let me know. They should not benefit if you can't.

That being said, I am sure that we will miss the half dozen or so users that link to us from your site but probably not as much as they will miss us. I am also sure that many will continue to find ways to visit us in spite of your "ban". Don't expect the board to drop our four year tradition just to accomodate you and what you think we should be doing for you. It just seems to me that we hear these dramatic farewells all too often, only to see the user slink back in due time. Maybe someone should start "DramaQueenBoard.com".

Too funny.
And we would have to :dazzler1: crown you our queen :dazzler1:
