Well like I said I'm pretty sure the smaller one's don't have it. Most likely because they don't need the extra material.

why did halcyon discontinue the 18lb wing? i liked those ones.

i had an sta for my old setup (DiveRite), and when i exchanged wings,
i just kept everything else the same.
to be honest, i can't figure out just from looking at it how the Pioneer doesn't
need an sta

The Pioneer has a rigid spine. A sort of built in STA.
