I dont know if I was underwater or not at the exact moment of the quake, so...........maybe?

No dead fish. The red tide has not really been an isssue this far south lately (knock wood). We were west (maybe a little south) of Big Carlos Pass between Ft. Myers Beach and Bonita Beach.
 
Didnt feel a thing and knew nothing of it until this morning's news reports. We were out playing softball and none of us felt anything.

I also didnt know of any majors faults running through that kind of area. Any reports on that kind of info. Depending what kind of fault it is would determine if a tsunami might happen due to the plate/fault movement.

are you serious man? the red tide back home in naples is awful!
 
I'm curious - why are we getting red tide updates in an earthquake thread?
