I'm thinking about using the summer interns as my dive sherpas.

Everyone is welcome. Many of us will be on the 6:15 Express to Avalon, but anytime is a good time. Most are returning on the 3:45. Yes this is how many of us have met in the past couple of years, so join the group and meet more dive buddies. We'll be at Casino Point...look for the big group of merriment and mayhem (the Dr. Bill Mobile will probably point the way too). There is a dive shop at the Casino that rents whatever you need and fills tanks (if you bring one of your own). For those details see www.catalinadiverssupply.com. Each person is responsible for planning their dive and diving their plan. Folks (buddy pairs and small groups) will enter and exit the water at random. There will be plenty of folks willing to buddy up. And the dives will be followed by dining at one of the local eateries on the walk back to the ferry.Just stumbled across this thread. I am very intrigued about ditching work for diving. Have only been local shore dives and have been dying to go Catalina and Casino Point. Sorta sounds like you guys are already friends and have diving together before. How bout a newbie tagging along? Have at least 10 dives since cert.
What time is everyone meeting, where is everyone meeting, and how would we buddy up? Also, do you take weights and tanks or rent them there? Never done dive trip yet Catalina but would love to go, if I can get official okay from wife.
As long as I get to navigate!Group buddy dive :grouphug:
HT wish you could make it down for the DWADD or even the scuba show.
Dennis, will you be my buddy??? :blinking:
