The rubber shoe part of my open heeled fins have caved in (no one told me about those plastic shape savers till it was too late!) so it's really hard to put my foot in them. Does anyone know any way to reshape the rubber?

Pour some very hot (hot as in out of the tap) water over them for a few seconds then shove something in there (a soda can?) that will restore its shape.

The hot water should soften them up enough for the can or whatever to restore the shape. If it doesn't work, try some hotter water :)

My LDS said hot water, wouldn't help, but I took your advice, jonnythan. I actually dunked the fins in boiling hot water for a few seconds. They seem to be keeping their shape. Thanks so much!
