I have a Thermo Valve on my HP100 - can I just upgrade from that slippery, stubby plastic thing into a longer, more durable rubber knob?

I was looking at it the other night - doesn't look too tough to do....I just wasn't sure if knobs we're universal or proprietary.

Also - where do I just get the knobs? Nobody around here has just the knobs.

Thanks -

Ken

You want the Sherwood knob. Any Sherwood repair shop should have it.

Can't be certain this will work on Thermo but certainly works on most valves.

......I've searched divers-supply....no sign of Sherwood knobs being listed.

Go to http://www.mikesscuba.com/acca.htm , and click on "Regulator Parts" - there are several different valve knobs. The Sherwood is part number AA84, and is $6.00. This is a great website - they have almost the entire Trident catalog online with prices.

Thanks, 'roo

Are the prices at mikesscuba.com considered good prices?
Don't know how the prices rate, but it's the only site I know of where you can buy stuff direct from the Trident catalog.
