I have been looking at ordering a CF200 as I loved the fit when I tried one on drysuit demos (OK, more like took it out all day on Sunday, LOL). For a couple of reasons, this would be a huge decision for me.

1) I DiveCon for an Andy's dealer. I could not use a DUI suit for any work with the shop. I would have to use my old suit to work with the shop.

2) The price difference between a comparable Andy's suit (two tech pockets, P-Valve, Cordura) with the add-on's is better than 1K from the prices listed on the website (BEFORE my dive pro's discount which would be significant in this case). That is difficult for me to reconcile.

3) My tech instructor ordered a new Andy's. He ordered custom and both he and I hate the apparent fit.

I will be interested to see how this situation is resolved and if it is. It may make a difference on which drysuit that I order next.

oh - with the inflator valve - maybe you checked this already..

I sold a suit, same thing, customer complained about getting wet, and the damn thing was barely screwed on!!

I assume you've checked this, but....

I just had my exhaust position changed to the forearm and did several dives on it yesterday. So far, I have to say I love it. MUCH easier and faster to get rid of air, and I can hold good trim in the process...

Much easier for me than the previous shoulder placment. When they moved it, they put a TLS patch over the old shoulder hole. Looks good.

Ooops...
Thanks for catching that, Ken...exhaust...

I'll edit that now...

Sorry to hear about your problems. I have about 50 dives on my CF200 sig, and no problems. Dump is on the shoulder, and I only have to raise my elbow a bit, or very slight rotate to the right, to dump air. I have no problems remaining horizontal.

I just send my suit in to DUI to have wrist zip seals installed. They said 2 weeks, and the suit was returned to me in exactly 2 weeks. It probably helps that I live in SoCal. While they had it, they did "maintenance" repair on the exhaust - low profile Apex. I never had the problems some have with leaks, but I guess DUI has acknowledged something was wrong, and fixed it. I havn't yet been back in the water, so, can't tell if all is working as it should be.

My problems with my DUI CLX-450:

Was perfect in every way, and totally DRY when it was new, then:

1. My wrist seals leaked a little after I trimmed them too much. Was about to send it in for Zip-seals install anyway--was only charged for materials, no labor.

2. My feet leaked a little after shuffling around on rocks while donning and doffing. A couple dabs of AquaSeal solved this, and now I change on a tarp.

3. Left arm got a little wet a few times when I cranked the vent valve all the way open, rather than a few clicks back from totally open as I had been taught.

4. Tore a wrist seal while undressing and had to spend 5 minutes trimming and installing a replacement zip seal before my next dive.

5. Rock boots were showing significant wear after a couple hundred dives. Was given a new pair for free when I showed them to a DUI rep.

6. Have to suffer the "equipment envy" of my dive buddies.

7. Believe that I will "need" to buy another DUI if I manage to wear this one out some day--and will have to again struggle with the decision of which of the excellent models to choose.

I have owned several DUI suits ( cf 200s and a cf 300) and they got lots of use... With the folding torso zippers tend to start to leak after 2 or 3 seasons- 75-100 cold water dives each year, (shoulder entry suits zippers last alot longer).. I had a commercial zipper installed on my last replacement so we'll see how that holds up..

I also have an ANDY's drysuit... They have several "fits", custom just means measurements within these fits..

I like the traditional fit, it works for most undergarments excepth the real bulky stuff (which it may be a little tighter than optimal).. If you get it cut loose for the bulky stuff it feels like crap non the very light stuff...

They also have a snug fit for people who always wear light undergarments...

If you dive Cold water their AUTR 1000 underwear is some of the best I have every tried.. Its very toasty in cold water and the thermal regulation properties of it don't kill you in warm weather.. also the stretch panels are great and help prevent heavy undergarments from restricting movement.. In general these undearwear need the loose fit..

If you are unhappy with the fit contact the factory.. if its a custom suit they make whatever changes you need.. ANDY's sponsored some suits for an expedition I did in may, My suit and a few others fit fine, a few divers didn;t like thier cut for their undergarments, sent them back and some adjusments were done.. Now the evryone is happy with their suits..
