For those of you who wanted to go and didn't, you missed a pretty good sized group. There was a little waiting on dry suits on Saturday, but Sunday morning was dead. 15 minutes and you would have been in the water.
Unfortuantely, I was exhausted from diving the day before so I did not get to dry suit test dive like I had hoped. We ended up aiding in the rescue/recovery of an overturned sailboat almost directly across from the DUI site. Nobody hurt, just bruised pride on the captain of the sailboat.
For those who tried their first dry suit dive this past weekend: be glad you tried one. We had a night/deep dive that night along the bluffs. The temp at the surface was 62 degrees. At 60ft, it dropped to about 40 degrees. Talk about a thermocline shock!
