I'm currently diving a Zeagle ZX-DS-V and am quite happy with its performance, I've had it down to 140 or so with no problems whatsoever. I'm starting my tech training next year and I'm starting to dive doubles now to get used to it, and I am about to order a second reg for my doubles. The question is does the Flathead VI have a noticeably better level of performance than the DS-V or is that more of a thing you see on testing machines but dont REALLY feel it yourself in the water?

Thanks,
Jim

The Flathead should perform better on the deeper dives. In 30 feet of water, you probably won't notice much difference. Of course, different divers will get different results...
