If have a DUI cnse drysuit. I am looking for something to keep my feet warm and dry. Yes, dry. My suit does not leak, but when I am dressing on a boat, where on most boats U must get dress outside where the floor is wet from previous dives or the mist. My socks sometimes get wet from the floor. Does anyone know of a brand of socks that are warm and is somewhat waterproof? Or someother idea?

Weezle. I wouldn't go out of the way to buy there booties otherwise- but you don't feel the moisture when they get wet

I good pair of wool socks work great too. They have kept my feet very warm when I've flooded my suit. A good polypropylene liner is good for whisking moisture away from your skin.

I wear long wool socks over a 300g pair of Software socks. To the original poster, you do NOT want to wear waterproof socks under a drysuit as they will trap moisture next to your foot and make you cold.

You can also put on your socks, then put ziplock freezer bags over them if you have to put your foot on the deck before you put your suit on. Once my socks go on, my foot is in the suit. Be creative.

Best socks for crawling around wet boat decks that I've found are the Gore-tex socks sold by Cabela's (and likely other places as well).

I prefer to go barefoot or put on Teva's myself (and I use the Weezle booties), but if you want to dress on the deck and the deck is wet, a pair of Cabela's gore-tex socks over a pair of wool socks may meet your needs. Mech is right on the non-breathable waterproof thing. Your feet sweat a lot and if the socks don't breath that alone will chill your feet bad.

I bought an inexpensive pair of fleece socks at our local Fleet Farm store. They keep me warm and wick away sweat but I don´t suppose they´d be good for wading through puddles before you suit up.

You could also try fleece-lined neoprene hunting socks available at places like Cabela's or LL Bean. I wear these under wet-suit booties (diving wet, not dry) when the water is cold -- nice and toasty.

Neoprene in a drysuit would trap moisture next to your foot. May be floaty also.

Good idea for wet booties though...
